Novague’s ‘Eco Laurin and Klement’ Combines Innovation with Retro Design

Novague Studio's 'Eco Laurin and Klement' is a unique concept car which integrates modern technology in a retro pre-war Czech car. The idea behind the design of the 'Eco Laurin and Klement' is to create the ultimate ecological automobile. The car is electric-powered and the motors are located in the wheels of the car. Batteries are placed on the front part of the car.

The lightweight ‘Eco Laurin and Klement’ features an F1 technology-inspired carbon frame, a chromium-molybdenum steel frame, a stabilization system to eliminate the weight of mechanical connections, and a double wishbone axle to dispose the push rod suspension.

Survival Doll

By Catherine McEver of Stuff You Can’t Have

when all else fails
Whether earthquake, tornado, terrorist attack, the rapture, or an alien invasion from outer space, you have only to grab your survival doll and run.
Concealed within this innocent-looking, seemingly worthless doll is everything you will need to survive just about anything that could possibly happen. “

Honda CX500 – Kingston Customs

"After 35 years the CX500 is continuing its second coming and receiving a lot of love from bike builders across the globe. This time, it’s from our German friends at Kingston Customs. Their last build was a stunning stripped down BMW R75/6; to say it was well received would be an understatement. As for the stock Honda CX500, the visually appealing V-twin engine was the saving grace of a bike that was commonly called the “plastic maggot”. Kingston have obviously lost all the plastic fantastic and in true German fashion, have created one of the cleanest and tastefully modified CX500 café racers we have ever seen”

Dieselpunk SA :: Feature CostumeHappy 150th Follower!
To celebrate, we feature Rui from Dieselpunk SA with his Dieselpunk outfit at AVCon 2013 (Anime and Video games Convention held in Adelaide annually). This uniform was created to be for a postal worker (Dieselpunk Postman) in a dysfunctional world where WWI never ended. Rui’s idea is that both sides of the war refused to give in so the war raged well into the 1940s. So that his costume was not a recognisable uniform from WWI or WWII, it is made up of a deliberate mesh of items from across the eras - the uniform has been made from items the character scrounged, stolen, or traded on the black market as pieces of his original uniform wore out.
